Dr. Caffery brings extensive experience in emergency medicine, encompassing both clinical and leadership roles in community, county, and university settings. He has been instrumental in starting and leading two ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency programs and currently heads an academic department at a large tertiary referral center.

Dr. Caffery earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University and his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency training at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dr. Caffery is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

With his robust background and expertise, Dr. Caffery continues to contribute significantly to the field of emergency medicine, enhancing both education and patient care in his current role.
