Shannon Cornett joined Core Clinical Partners in 2022 and serves as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. With more than a decade of experience in healthcare marketing and business development, she is passionate about helping organizations grow while staying true to their mission. Known for her entrepreneurial mindset and creative approach, Shannon thrives on building strategies that drive both innovation and measurable results.

At Core, she leads the company’s marketing efforts, strengthening brand recognition and supporting business expansion. Before joining Core, Shannon helped launch and scale Ascend Medical, overseeing business development and operations for a telemedicine and mobile health startup. Earlier in her career, she led marketing and community development for WellStreet Urgent Care, supporting its growth in partnership with Piedmont Healthcare to more than 75 locations in Atlanta.

She holds an MBA from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Health Services. Originally from Pennsylvania, Shannon is a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. Today, she resides in Atlanta with her husband and three children, though they often spend time abroad.
