Shannon joined Core in 2022 as the organization’s first Director of Marketing and now serves as the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications, bringing over a decade of experience in healthcare marketing and business development. An entrepreneurial leader, Shannon has a proven ability to drive growth and spearhead innovation in fast-paced environments. At Core, she leads the strategic direction of the company’s marketing efforts, enhancing brand recognition and fueling business expansion.

Previously, she led the Georgia market in both business development and operations for Ascend Medical, a startup organization providing telemedicine and mobile services to both individuals and businesses. Prior to that, Shannon spent over five years at WellStreet Urgent Care managing marketing and community development, which has 75 locations in and around Atlanta in partnership with Piedmont Healthcare.

Shannon holds an MBA from Louisiana State University and a Bachelors of Science in Business and Health Services. She currently resides in Atlanta with her husband and three children, though they often spend time abroad.
