Boykin Robinson, MD, MBA
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Boykin Robinson founded Core Clinical Partners in 2018 to address a clear gap in healthcare leadership: the need for hospital partnerships that improve quality without losing the accountability and relationships of a local physician group. A physician executive with two decades of experience, Dr. Robinson brings a practical, outcomes-driven approach to building high-performing clinical organizations.
Trained in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Robinson began his career in Atlanta and quickly advanced into Emergency Department and hospital leadership roles. His experience spans Emergency and Hospital Medicine, where he has led multidisciplinary teams of clinicians and business professionals through periods of operational improvement, growth, and transformation. Notably, he played a central role in turning around a struggling community hospital and guiding it through a successful sale.
Dr. Robinson holds an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina, a medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and an MBA from the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Emory University and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is also board-certified in healthcare management by the American College of Healthcare Executives. In 2024, Ernst & Young LLP named him a finalist for the Entrepreneur Of The Year® Southeast Award in recognition of his leadership and entrepreneurial vision.
Under Dr. Robinson’s leadership, Core Clinical Partners has grown into a trusted partner for hospitals and physicians nationwide, consistently delivering improved clinical performance, stronger alignment, and sustainable results.
