Dr. Lynne Grief is a nationally recognized subject matter expert with diverse experience and demonstrated abilities in administrative, education, and clinical nursing within emergency and trauma healthcare settings. She has served as Chair of the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) in addition to an invited member of American Board of Nursing Specialties Research Committee (ABNS), the ABNS Institute of Medicine’s (IOM’s) Task Force on the Future of Nursing, and the IOM’s Planning Committee for a Workshop on Future Directions of Credentialing Research on Nursing. She is currently President for ABNS.
Dr. Grief holds a PhD (Nursing) from the University of South Florida. She received her BScN and MN degrees from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. She has a proven capacity to manage multiple projects and administrative responsibilities and promote effective collaborative relationships. She has well-regarded success in optimizing clinical operations, organizing and improving care delivery systems, patient care services, patient safety, and patient satisfaction. She is a dedicated professional with a commitment to quality and has proven success assuring regulatory compliance and accreditations. Dr. Grief is consistently recognized for effective critical thinking and bringing innovation and realistic solutions to complex problems.
