We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Physician Recruiting in our expanding company. This person will be responsible for skillfully overseeing and managing the recruitment process. They should provide leadership, support, advocacy, and development to the Recruiting Team.

Essential Duties:

  • Develops and implements effective recruitment strategies to meet the organization’s clinical talent acquisition needs
  • Leads and manages a team of recruiters, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team meets recruitment goals
  • Cultivates strong relationships with internal stakeholders, hiring managers, and external recruitment partners
  • Analyze recruitment data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall recruitment process
  • Ensures compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process
  • Participates in conferences, job fairs, and physician recruitment opportunity events
  • Some travel to attend conferences and candidate hospital tours
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Collaborate with professionals internal and external to the company and across geographic locations
  • Exhibit growth mindset and team-orientated behaviors
  • Navigate competing priorities and effectively work in a fast-paced environment

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of Healthcare recruitment experience
  • Hospital Medicine and/or Emergency Medicine recruitment experience strongly preferred

Supervisory Requirements:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
