Atlanta, Georgia—Core Clinical Partners is pleased to announce that Matthew Stapleton, MBA, RN, has joined the organization as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

A seasoned healthcare executive with more than 15 years of leadership experience, Matt brings a proven ability to strengthen operations, build cohesive teams, and drive performance across complex healthcare environments. As COO, he will oversee operational strategy and execution, ensuring Core continues to deliver reliable, high-quality partnership and results for hospitals and health systems nationwide.

Before joining Core, Matt held senior executive roles across national physician services and post-acute care organizations, leading multi-state operations encompassing hundreds of hospital contracts and thousands of clinicians. His expertise spans strategic planning, P&L management, performance improvement, and mergers and acquisitions—all grounded in a focus on quality, consistency, and sustainability.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bowling Green State University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University, and a Master of Business Administration. A Six Sigma Green Belt and registered nurse, he brings both clinical understanding and business acumen to his leadership. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Matt resides in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife and enjoys spending time with their two grown children.
