Core Clinical Partners Welcomes Mark Canada as Vice President of Clinical Operations

Core Clinical Partners is excited to welcome Mark Canada as Core’s Vice President of Clinical Operations. Previously, Mr. Canada led clinical improvement and operations for the country’s largest EM provider, Envision Physicians Services.

“I sensed that Core could be a flexible and agile force in the industry, and that would mean I could really bring value on multiple levels to clients quickly,” Mr. Canada said. “I think that flexibility is somewhat unique in the marketplace right now. It’s a great opportunity to join a group and a culture where we can spend the time necessary to provide great service to our hospital and system partners and deliver value for key stakeholders.”

Previously, Mr. Canada served as Vice President of Clinical Services for Envision, where he led a team of five directors toward numerous awards for quality and implemented value-based care programs that consistently achieved the quadruple aim for hospital systems and their patients. He also helped lead telehealth implementations to support hospital partners in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to his leadership roles at Envision, Mr. Canada was a nursing leader in Missouri at hospitals such as Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis and Overland Park Regional Medical Center in the Kansas City area. He has his Master’s in Nursing from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Webster University in Missouri.

At Core, Mr. Canada will use his strong clinical background and track record building effective, collaborative teams to lead clinical and operational process improvement for our hospital and system partners. He will work with clinical and operational leaders on-site to identify new opportunities to improve performance, drive patient engagement, and implement evidence-based practice initiatives.

“I was very impressed with Mark’s success in implementing successful programs at Envision, helping hospitals reduce length of stay, making lasting improvements to flow and operations in the ED, and leading telehealth initiatives,” said Dr. Boykin Robinson, CEO of Core Clinical Partners. “Mark combines experience on a national scale with the right mindset of flexibility and agility to bring value to everything we do.”

Mr. Canada joined Core on March 12, 2021.
