Erica Billiot Joins Core Clinical Partners as Vice President of Business Development

Core Clinical Partners is pleased to welcome Erica Billiot, MHA, as its new Vice President of Business Development. Billiot comes to Core from previous leadership roles with Ob Hospitalist Group and Apogee Physicians. In total, she has spent over 20 years in healthcare, with 13 of those focused on partnering with hospitals on outsourced, hospital-based physicians services.

“It’s exciting to take on this new and larger role with Core,” said Billiot. “I’ve been working on the hospitalist side for many years, and one message I always heard from hospital executives is that they prefer one group overseeing both hospitalists and the ED, with responsibility and accountability for both. We are expanding in both areas, with partnership really at the center of our value proposition.”

Previously, Billiot was Director of Business Development for Ob Hospitalist Group, the country’s largest and only dedicated OB hospitalist provider. During her time there, Billiot was awarded for growing the pipeline in the South Central and Southeast region through many uncertainties during the pandemic.

Prior to Ob Hospitalist Group, Billiot worked in business development roles for Apogee Physicians, which manages over 1,000 hospitalists in 33 states, as well as IN Compass Health, a hospitalist provider based in Alpharetta, Georgia.

“Erica is a fantastic addition to our leadership team here at Core,” said Dr. Boykin Robinson, CEO of Core Clinical Partners. “She has been successful in her previous roles precisely because she recognizes that we, as a physician services group, are here to be strategic partners to the hospitals and communities which we serve.”

As Vice President of Business Development at Core, Billiot will support the group’s continued growth as a leading emergency medicine and hospitalist group, both through outreach to new hospitals and health systems as well as building on Core’s existing strong health system partnerships.
