Core Clinical Partners to Manage ED Physicians Services and Improve Throughput at St. Francis Medical Center in Louisiana

Monroe, LA—Core Clinical Partners is excited to announce it has partnered with St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA, to provide physicians services and emergency medicine management. Core will officially begin services on May 10th.

“When patients come to St. Francis Medical Center for emergency care, it is crucial that we provide not only the best clinical care, but also a positive experience for both the patient and family members,” said St. Francis’ Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer Kayla Johnson. “Through our partnership with Core, we will continue to be the hospital of choice for quality emergency care delivered in the compassionate manner St. Francis is known for in Northeast Louisiana.”

Core has retained 100 percent of the emergency physicians, nurse practitioners, and PAs who were serving the community, and has already hired more to continue to provide excellent service and quality care.

St. Francis selected Core from several other emergency medicine groups because of Core’s physician alignment and emphasis on objective measures of patient satisfaction and quality of care. Together, St. Francis and Core will begin working collaboratively to improve patient throughput in the emergency department through a variety of process improvements, as well as reduce nursing care team turnover.

“We’re thrilled to partner with St. Francis,” said Core CEO Boykin Robinson, MD. “Our team has been on the ground working hand in hand with St. Francis’ clinical and operational leaders to continue and improve upon its reputation for compassionate, quality patient care.”
