Core Clinical Partners is thrilled to welcome Jessica Long as Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. In her new role, Ms. Long will build operational processes and strategic partnerships to address challenges on the horizon in emergency and inpatient care.
Our hospitals are under more duress than ever before, making the smooth flow of patients between emergency departments and inpatient units even more vital. A mutual peer review process can and should be a part of a Joint Operating Committee, or “JOC”, which is a broader platform for both specialties to share ideas and discuss how to improve flow, quality, and patient experience.
A collegial, collaborative peer review process is an important piece of the quality program in any hospital or healthcare system. This committee is developed with assistance from the leadership team, will create an educational experience for all committee members, and serves to provide continuous education for our physicians and APPs with the result being a safer patient experience.
