STEVEN CURRIER, MD, FACEP

Executive Medical Director

Dr. Steve Currier, M.D., FACEP, is the Executive Medical Director at Core Clinical Partners with over 20 years of experience in emergency medicine, medical leadership, and military service. Dr. Currier earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and completed his emergency medicine residency at Darnall Army Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. His leadership roles include Chief of Emergency and Hyperbaric Medicine, Regional President of a national practice management group, and Managing Partner of Augusta Physicians Group. A U.S. Army veteran, Dr. Currier deployed as Trauma Team Chief in Afghanistan and Chief of Emergency Medicine in Iraq, earning honors like the Bronze Star and Air Medal.

Passionate about teaching, he has held faculty roles at the Medical College of Georgia, Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Uniformed Services University. Dr. Currier is recognized for his expertise in emergency care, trauma, and disaster response, driving innovation and quality in emergency department operations.
