Pamela Steenbergen is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 23 years of experience in emergency and ambulatory services, consulting, and clinical operations. As Director of Clinical Optimization at Core Clinical Partners, she partners with hospital systems to strengthen clinical quality, improve throughput, and enhance patient experience across emergency, hospital medicine, and critical care. Prior to joining Core, she spent more than a decade with a national consulting firm, coaching over 200 emergency departments across the U.S. and Canada to improve performance, reduce costs, and streamline operations, and also held senior leadership roles at physician practice management organizations managing large hospital contracts and advancing strategies to optimize care delivery. 

Pamela holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from American Intercontinental University and a BA in Psychology from DePauw University, and she is a certified Lean Practitioner through Johns Hopkins Medicine. A recognized thought leader, she has authored publications and delivered keynote presentations on emergency department leadership and operational excellence. She lives in Navarre, FL with her husband and three dogs and enjoys prison ministry, traveling, running, and spending time at the beach.
