Matthew Stapleton is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 15 years of experience leading large-scale operations, driving financial performance, and guiding multi-site healthcare organizations through strategic growth and transformation. Throughout his career, Matt has earned a reputation for building high-performing teams, fostering physician partnerships, and achieving operational excellence across Emergency and Hospital Medicine service lines.

Before joining Core Clinical Partners, Matt held senior executive leadership roles across national physician services and post-acute care organizations, where he led multi-state operations encompassing hundreds of hospital contracts and thousands of clinicians. His expertise spans strategic planning, P&L management, mergers and acquisitions, performance improvement, and change management—all with a focus on improving quality outcomes and driving sustainable growth.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bowling Green State University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University, and a Master of Business Administration. He is also a Six Sigma Green Belt and a Registered Nurse, bringing both clinical insight and business acumen to his leadership approach.

Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Matt is a devoted Green Bay Packers and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He resides in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife and enjoys spending time with their two grown children.
